Information we collect
The public diagnostic form collects one contact email. The private page asks for the student’s full name only when attendance is confirmed. We also record registration time, whether the private page was opened, whether attendance was confirmed, and whether each diagnostic email request succeeded or failed.
Why we use it
- To create and operate the private diagnostic page.
- To send the private link and diagnostic reminders.
- To confirm expected attendance and run the live session.
- To secure the service and respond to diagnostic questions.
Children and parent approval
A student under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s approval before registering. We deliberately avoid collecting grade, score, location, phone number or other detailed student information at this stage. We do not sell personal information or use student data for behaviourally targeted advertising.
Sharing and storage
Registration information is stored with the website’s hosting provider. The contact email and message content are sent through the 1530 Lab Google Workspace account. Access is limited to the founder and service providers needed to operate and secure the diagnostic or comply with law.
Recordings
Diagnostic or class recordings will not be made without a separate, clear notice explaining the purpose, access and retention. Enrolment will require separate parent or guardian recording consent where recording is used.
Your choices
A parent or guardian may request access, correction or deletion of submitted information, or withdraw from future cohort communication. For a family that does not enrol, ordinary diagnostic contact information is scheduled for deletion by 20 December 2026 unless the family separately asks to hear about a future cohort. Operational and legal records may need to be retained for a limited period.
