Safeguarding and Online Communication

The cohort is online by design, and clear communication boundaries are part of the product—not an afterthought.

Parent-visible enrolment

A parent or guardian participates in registration, receives the policies and is included in important program communication for a minor student.

Monitored channels

Teachers do not privately message minor students through personal accounts. Approved program channels collect routine questions and administrative messages; subject doubts are resolved during the relevant Math or R&W application-and-review class. Sensitive administrative matters include the parent or guardian where appropriate.

Live-session expectations

Recordings

If any session is recorded, families will be told what is captured, why, who may view it and how long it will be retained. Separate parent or guardian consent will be obtained. Recordings may not be downloaded or redistributed unless expressly permitted.

Faculty screening

Faculty selection includes identity and reference checks, a paid teaching demonstration, assessment of communication with minors and acceptance of these boundaries. Final screening details will appear in each cohort’s written enrolment pack.

Reporting a concern

Email safeguarding concerns to hello@1530lab.in. Immediate danger should always be reported to the appropriate local emergency or child-protection authority.
