Two appointments: One Math teacher and one Reading & Writing teacher. Each teacher owns both weekly classes, testing analysis, doubts and reporting for their subject.
The cohort contract
- Eight-week fixed cohort, provisionally 5 October–29 November 2026.
- Sixteen 90-minute live classes per teacher: two classes weekly and 24 live hours total.
- Planning scope of 36 total work hours per teacher: 24 live, six preparation, four assessment review and two reporting/administration. The signed agreement will define the final cap and treatment of additional work.
- The first weekly class teaches concepts and strategy; the second covers timed application, mock review, correction and doubts.
- The weekly student test is completed independently. The Math teacher reviews all Math results; the R&W teacher reviews all R&W results. On sectional weeks, only the relevant teacher reviews the test.
- No separate review-clinic teacher or doubt-hour teacher.
- Fixed cohort compensation and staged payments confirmed in writing.
What we assess
- Current subject competence and digital-format knowledge.
- Ability to diagnose a 1150–1450 student’s recurring errors.
- Clarity and engagement in the disclosed final practical audition.
- Reasoning, misconception handling and reliability.
- Online setup, connectivity backup and safeguarding judgement.
Selection process
1 · Written screenCV, current Digital SAT experience, group size taught, availability, fixed cohort fee and one existing teaching sample.
2 · 20-minute interviewSubject history, digital-format fluency, cohort management, schedule, outside-work permission and reliability.
3 · 30-minute auditionTeach an unseen question, diagnose a plausible student error, propose remediation, demonstrate tool judgement and explain reporting.
4 · Paid trial classFinalists teach a 45–60 minute recorded sample class. The trial fee and brief are confirmed beforehand.
5 · VerificationIdentity and evidence checks, two references, device/internet backup, conflict confirmation and written contract.
One Math lead and one Reading & Writing lead are appointed. Screened reserve candidates are maintained separately and are not regular cohort teachers.
What matters more than a prestigious degree
A strong instructor can explain why an approach failed, engage a mixed-ability group, turn error patterns into the next week’s plan and communicate progress without exaggerating results.
Expression of interest
This form creates a candidate record. Shortlisted candidates will receive the compensation range, exact class times, assessment, paid demonstration brief and contract process before proceeding.
